Suggest Pants
You take a slow sip of your coffee, leaning against the patio railing as you look over the three unclad women. The morning sun catches the steam rising from your mug, highlighting the striking contrast between your casual clothes and their completely bare, relaxed skin.
“As your official ridge guide, I have a few technical recommendations for the trail,” you say, a smooth, practiced smile reaching your eyes. “The lower third of the mountain peak trail winds through some pretty thick undergrowth. I usually suggest pants or at least knee-length shorts for that stretch, just to avoid getting scraped up by the mountain brush.”
Chloe tilts her head, her petite, busty frame shifting slightly as she looks up at you with an amused, undeterred smile. “And what happens after the lower third, guide?”
“Once you the tree line and get above a certain level, the trail clears out completely into open rock,” you explain, tracking the way Lauren listens to you with a bright, confident gaze, entirely unbothered by her own complete lack of clothing. “From that point on, as long as you aren’t worried about slipping on the rough granite, the brush isn’t an issue anymore. Once we’re up there, you can decide exactly what level of coverage you’re comfortable with.”
Elena lets out a soft, appreciative laugh, her long, toned, seamlessly tanned legs stretching out as she leans back in her chair. Her sharp eyes lock onto yours with a knowing, playful glint. “A tiered dress code based on elevation. I like the sound of that. It gives us a goal to hike toward.”
Lauren sets her coffee mug down on the wooden table, looking up at you with a mixture of excitement and a newly discovered, thrilling confidence. “The peak really is beautiful, girls. And since the upper trails are entirely private and inside our boundaries, we won’t have to worry about running into anyone else.” She turns her blue eyes back to you, a warm, suggestive smile playing on her lips. “So, what’s the plan, Mark?”
Chloe lets out a bright, dramatic laugh, tossing her head back as her petite, busty frame shifts in her chair. “Well, that leaves me out, guide. I don’t think I even packed a pair of pants or long shorts for this trip. My suitcase is basically sundresses, bikinis, and air.”
Lauren smiles warmly, entirely at ease in her own skin as she looks at her friend. “Don’t worry, Chloe. I have plenty of hiking gear in our cabin. I can easily find a pair of lightweight shorts that will fit you perfectly for the lower trail.”
“You’re a lifesaver,” Chloe grins, leaning back and taking another sip of her coffee.
“I’ll head inside to grab the daypacks and a few trail essentials while you two go grab some shorts,” you say, stepping away from the patio railing.
As you move into the cool, shaded interior of the main cabin to gather some provisions, packing a first-aid kit, extra water bottles, and a fresh bottle of heavy sunscreen, you hear the soft slap of bare feet on the stone deck. You look up as a tall, elegant shadow blocks the morning sun in the doorway.
Elena steps inside the main lodge. Without the barrier of the patio table, her athletic, exceptionally toned physique is fully on display. She moves with a fluid, captivating grace, her long legs and sculpted core defined by that deep, seamless tan. She leans casually against the heavy timber doorframe, completely unbothered by her total lack of clothing as she watches you organize the gear.
“Need a hand with the packing, Mark?” she asks, her voice low, calm, and smooth.
“I think I’ve got it under control, just making sure we have the basics,” you reply, zipping up the first daypack. You look up, meeting her steady gaze. “How about you? Did you sleep well last night?”
A slow, highly intelligent smile spreads across Elena’s face. She tilts her head slightly, her sharp eyes locking onto yours with a heavy, unmistakable glint of mischief.
“Eventually,” she murmurs, trailing a manicured finger idly along the wood grain of the doorframe. “I actually had a bit of trouble falling asleep last night. The mountain air was a little... restless. So, I decided to take a late-night walk around the grounds to clear my head.”
She pauses intentionally, letting the silence stretch as her gaze holds yours with absolute, unblinking confidence. The subtle inflection in her tone makes it thrillingly clear that her midnight stroll took her right past the clearing where you and Lauren were under the stars. “The view from the ridge is always so much more intense at night, don’t you think? You can hear almost everything out here when the wind drops.”
Before you can reply, the sound of Lauren and Chloe’s laughter drifts closer from the patio.
