Round Three

Three goddesses looked at each other.

Demeter said: "All three of us got pregnant in the first try, so... a draw?"

Rhea furrowed her brow: "What I'm concerned about is how we divide the prize. It's hard to split it into three equally."

Aphrodite objected: "A tournament can have only one champion. Round two ended in a draw, then we must have round three."

"What's your proposal?"

"It's simple. A daughter's fruitfulness is an extension of her mother's, because when the daughter has a child, her mother has a grandchild. So this round will be the competition between daughters of us. The rule is still the same: They'll take turns having sex with him, and whoever gets pregnant first, her mother will win this contest."

Demeter: "Hey, that's not fair! You have dozens of demigod daughters! We don't have any!"

Aphrodite waved her hands: "This round is only for immortal daughters, so the menstrual cycle won't be a factor. If you're not confident, you can concede at any time."

"You dare to look down on me! Okay, I'm in!"

Rhea tried to object, but Aphrodite didn't give her the chance: "Since two out of three people agreed—exceeding the 50% threshold—the rules have been settled in accordance with the majority rule."
