Talking in the dining room
Dining Room Talk
Inside, Delia and Ashely made a beeline for the dining room. At the table, the two women sat themselves down across from each other. Possibly the best way to have such a conversation for the pair.
"So not only are you now a girl, you're old enough to find a man who loves you?" Delia started, watching a smile form on her daughter's face. Part of her felt envious to an extent. Ever since her husband had left, no one had really paid much attention to her. It just wasn't fair.
"Yep." Ashely answered, setting her bible down on the table. "He treats me well. I hold down the fort. He has been talking about having a child."
Delia did a double take. There was no way that such a feat could be possible, right? Ashely had once been a man. Now that they were a woman, could such a thing be accomplished?
"That's nice." Delia explained. "Could you tell me a bit more about this religion of yours?"
