"By Yourself"

Not wanting to mull over decisions, you decided to take a seat alone in the corner of the cafeteria. Having placed your tray down on the small table, you took out your phone and began texting a few of your friends, asking what their plans were for the weekend. In between the incessant random friend requests from random girls in your highschool, you put your phone away to clear your brain for a second, and looked up at your plate of food, wrinkling your nose. An odd assortment of goop-like food sat in front of you; nevermind the fact that you almost just gagged smelling it, but looks were definitely not deceiving. You pushed the tray away and returned to your food, until you heard an unfamiliar voice.

"It tastes like shit, I don't know how you guys eat this stuff every day."
